Best M&M Cookies

The housemates and I have started fostering kittens again! This time, we have three baby kittens (like, 4-5 weeks old) and their mama cat. They are sooo incredibly adorable and tiny, I cannot get over it. They run around and wrestle each other and then pass out on your lap in a little ball.

I think it's love!

One of my favorite candies are M&Ms, and if I could, I would probably put them into everything. So naturally, M&M cookies are one of my favorite desserts to make. These little cookies really pack a punch in sweetness and deliciousness, and they are so moist and chewy.

Definitely a great recipe to make, it will become a quick staple in your repertoire in no time.

Here is a picture of the kittens, just so you can get a sense of how adorable they are! ;)

Best M&M Cookies
Bake Time: 10-12 mins         Yields 2 dozen cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flour
3 Tbsps instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups M&Ms

Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2) In a large mixing bowl of your stand mixer, cream the butter and sugars until smooth. Add in the egg and vanilla extract.
3) In a separate bowl, combine flour, pudding mix, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add dry ingredients to your sugar mixture until completely combined. Add chocolate chips and M&Ms and stir until mixed evenly throughout.
4) Place heaping tablespoon sized balls of dough on the baking sheet about 1-inch apart. Bake cookies for 10-12 minutes until cooked through. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes then transfer to baking sheet and cool completely. Repeat this with remainder of dough.
