My name is Ellen, and I'm a 20-something university student living in East Coast Canada. I have lived here my whole life and I love everything about this great place!
From a young age, I have always loved baking. My mother taught me a lot of skills, and as I got older I branched out and began to try new things on my own. I have no formal culinary training and I do not claim to be any kind of "master chef". I'm just a girl who loves to bake, and cook, and try new recipes in the kitchen. I made this blog so that I could share my experiences with you, and pass on some tips and tricks, one amateur chef to another.
With this blog, I hope to post new recipes as often as possible, complete with photos and any suggestions that I can offer for the dish. Feel free to comment on any of the recipes you like or have tried making with comments or suggestions that will be useful to others. I am going to be as diligent with my blogging as possible, but being a student, there may be times when schooling trumps blogging. I promise to try and avoid this scenario at all costs but just hang in there!
I am always on the hunt for new recipes, and I love hearing any feedback that I can get, so I encourage you to leave comments on blog posts. If you like the recipe, or have tried it and have any tips of your own I am always open to new ideas!
