Chocolate Coconut Pecan Braid

I'm finding it difficult to write a blog post right now because, since my summer vacation has been so chill and relaxing, not a lot of new events or information has been happening. Not a lot of new things to report so I guess I'll get right down to the recipe!

This delicious chocolately pastry looks challenging to make but it's actually not so hard. I wasn't able to get super great pictures, but you can see much nicer pictures from Willow Bird Baking, which is where this recipe comes from. There is also a tutorial on that site (with pictures) for how to create the folded look of the braid.

While this recipe may seem complicated, it looks impressive when it's finished and it isn't quite as complicated as it may seem.

I must say, getting back to Kingston will allow me to get back into my own kitchen and have all the ingredients I need at hand. It took me a while to get adjusted to the kitchen in Kingston but now I am the most comfortable cooking there. I can't explain it, but I've just gotten used to it!

Enjoy the recipe!!
